How do I know if I need a firmware upgrade?
If you are having difficulty connecting this product with other ZyXEL HomePlug AV products, you may need to download and update new firmware that conform with the new HomePlug standard.
Tip: It is recommended to plug the Powerline adapters into the same outlet or a power strip to determine whether the products need firmware upgrade.

1. Please check the Powerline link LED lights. If they are on and not blinking, it means the HomePlug devices are working properly. The problem may be with your own computer and the Ethernet device connected to the HomePlug AV adapter. Please check the Ethernet cables if they are plugged in correctly.

2. Are the Powerline link LED lights off? One of the devices may need a firmware upgrade. Go to (www.zyxel.com/homeplug) and follow the instructions to upgrade the firmware and download the utility.
